Wendy makes new friend at the British Museum in London!

Look who I caught on film... Wendy and a new (or should I say, "old"!) friend. We started on Saturday, July 16, with a visit to the British Museum. "Wow!" is all I can say.

We spent over three-and-a-half hours and only got to look in two of dozens of rooms of antiquities! The highlight for both of us was the opportunity to see the actual Rosetta Stone (see photo below). Wendy bought a replica of the stone for my office. 

In the afternoon we took in a play at the Theatre Royal. We had an awesome time with "to die for" seats in a nearly 300-year-old theatre. Thank the good Lord we did not have to die for the seats, however. Otherwise, you might be visiting our remains at the British Museum some three thousand years from now!
